Gardening 101 Class

Child Rate: $10 per child ages 5-18, free for children under 5. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

We will cover:
- why growing your own food matters for lowering your carbon footprint
- the different philosophies of gardening
- which style of gardening may be right for you
- how to build your soil
- the basics of planting in North Texas
- how to care for your garden once it is planted
Please note: There are no bathrooms onsite at the garden. Please use the restroom prior to arrival. Please bring water and wear closed-toed shoes.
